JFK/Dallas Picture Tour

In addition to the pictures on the previous two pages, there are a number of other assassination-related places to see while in Dallas. Some are just a short drive from Dealey Plaza, such as Oswald's boarding house, the Texas Theater, and Parkland Hospital. If you just want to tour the area near Dealey Plaza, make sure to walk around on the grassy knoll as well as the other side of Elm Street, take a stroll over the triple underpass, walk behind the fence at the top of the knoll and observe the parking area and a sniper's view of Elm Street. Make sure to locate the curb-side sewer on Elm Street, as well as a small plaque at the bottom of the grassy knoll (adjacent to where the assassination occurred). You should also take a short walk down Houston Street, and observe the view the motorcade had as it turned from Main St. onto Houston St. and approached Elm St. A tour of the Sixth Floor Museum is a must, but you can save the Conspiracy Museum for your second visit.
